Fini & Zosia———————————————————————————
This is a very special project that has been debuted at several venues in Spring 2019 including City University, The Vortex, The Pindrop Sessions (at the Brixton Pound) and Donau115 (Berlin). This brand new music includes settings of Rupi Kaur, e.e. cummings and takes word inspiration from Clarissa Pinkola Estes, Rebecca Solnit and Virginia Woolf. These songs are an exploration into womanhood, breaking boundaries, crossing borders, recognising the need for growth, and the power of community. This music was written specifically for the exposed lineup of voice and cello (played by the wonderful Zosia Jagodzinska), together with (at times) piano, guitar and loop station to add harmonic texture, colours and contrast.

fini bearman band————————————————————-
Under my own name I have released 3 albums; two of original material (Step Up, 2011/Burn the Boat, 2016) and one of covers (Porgy & Bess, 2014).
the bear & the fish————————————————————
This is a collaboration with the wonderful, award-winning keyboard player Tom Cawley. Old-fashioned songwriting with contemporary electronic soundscapes drawing influences from James Blake, Little Dragon and Paul Simon, these songs combine soaring melodies with emotive harmonies and and explore themes from love to millennial existential angst.
A collaboration with long time music/foodie friend, Tom Hewson; This was originally a project inspired by Salman Rushdie’s book, Midnight’s Children (which premiered at the EDF London Jazz Festival in 2015) and has since developed into a band and has branched off in other directions.
